Background
Uganda is home to over 8 million children who are considered vulnerable to harm. Most children in Uganda have experienced some form of violence. UNICEF observed that the number of children living on streets increased by 70% by 2014 and by implication these are out of school, they do casual work, are lawless and living hopelessly.
